月6日に厚生労働省が発表した「2018年多文化人口動態統計」によれば、昨年の国際結婚は2万3773件で前年に比べ8.5％(1856件)増加しました。
全婚姻数に占める国際結婚の割合は9.2％で、前年より0.9％ポイント増加しました。
また、昨年の多文化家庭の子供(国際結婚夫婦の間に生まれた子ども)は、1万8千人。これは昨年の新生児の総数の5.5％に当たり、10年前の2008年より2.8%増えています。
内訳は、外国人の妻と結婚した割合が67％で最多、前年(65％)より2％の増加。
外国人の夫と結婚した割合は18.4％で、前年より1.2％減少。
年齢は、男性(夫)が45歳以上が26.9％で最も多く、35～39歳(19.6％)、30～34歳(19.3％)、40～44歳(17.8％)と続く。
女性(妻)の年齢を見ると25～29歳が27.6％で最も多く、続いて30～34歳(22.3％)、20～24歳(18％)の順です。
国際結婚をした夫の平均初婚年齢は36.4歳、妻は28.3歳
平均再婚年齢は夫47.8歳、妻38.5歳,夫の方が年上のケースが78.2％で最も多くなっています。
夫が10歳以上年上の夫婦は40.9％と前年比で1.4％ポイント増えました。

Last year, 18,000 children from multicultural families (A child born between an internationally married couple) .This represents 5.5% of the total number of newborns last year, an increase of 2.8% over 2008 a decade ago.
Breaking it down, the percentage of married foreign wives was the highest at 67%, an increase of 2% from the previous year (65%).
The percentage of married foreign husbands was 18.4%, a 1.2% decrease from the previous year.
The age of males (husbands) is the highest at 26.9% when they are 45 years or older, followed by 35-39 years (19.6%), 30-34 years (19.3%), and 40-44 years (17.8%).
Looking at the age of women (wife), 25-29 years is the most common at 27.6%, followed by 30-34 years (22.3%) and 20-24 years (18%).
The average first marriage age of an internationally married husband is 36.4 years old, and the wife is 28.3 years old.
The average remarriage age is 47.8 years for husbands, 38.5 years for wives, and husbands are 78.2% of the older cases.
Couples whose husbands are older than 10 years old increased by 1.4 percentage points to 40.9%
